- In this research, the writer concerns on implicature in the types of implicature in Flight movie by Robert Zemeckis. The objectives of the research are: to know what types of implicature are used in the movie, what implied meanings are found from the participants dialoguesin the Flight movie by Robert Zemeckis. To focus of the research, he limits himself to analyze twenty six data. The writer uses qualitative descriptive method in order to fulfill the objectives of the research. (a) the writer looking for the movie and movie script of the Flight movie, (b) the writer watches the movie in many times and understanding this movie, (c) the writer makes notes or marks the data to simplify the analysis process, (d) the writer identifies the conversations that is guessed include in the implicature utterance, (e) the writer synchronizes the theory and the data, (f) the writer analyzes the data to know the utterances of implicature and implied meaning that happens, according to Grice theory as a basic theory to analyze the conversational implicature in Flight movie. From the analysis, the writer finds out two kinds of implicature, they are: conventional implicature and conversational implicature. The conversational implicature consists of generalized implicature and particularized implicature. While the implied meanings of occurring conventional and conversational implicature. The writer considers that many people often do not obey the conversation principles and there is big possibility of doing implication. It is because there are some utterances that the hearer says use the implied meaning. The speaker and the hearer use implication in their utterance because they want to the participant find the real meaning by himself
