- Problems in research is the implementation of academic supervision conducted by the head of MANCilacap allegedly less than the maximum. The purpose of this study are: (1) Explain what elements are the focus of academic supervision of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap. (2) Explainingthe strategy of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap in improving teacher’s professional competence. (3) Analyzing feedback and follow-up of academic supervisionof Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap Head. The results of this study are: (1) the elements that are supervisid by academic Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap is planning of learning, implementation of learning, and evaluation of learning; (2) Strategy by Madrasah Principal in improving the professional competence of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap teachers, among them: (a) conduct class visits; (b) make observation visits; (c) holding meetings; (d) conducting the training; And (e) personal meetings with teachers; And (3) feedback and follow-up of academic supervision of Madrasah Principal in professional competence of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap teachers. Academic supervision feedback Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap, among them: (a) teachers are trying to improve the ability to plan learning, implementation of learning, evaluation of learning by way of observation to other teachers; (B) teachers seek to improve the ability to plan lessons, implement lessons, evaluate learning by studying books on learning; (C) teachers are trying to improve the ability to plan lessons, implementation of learning, evaluation of learning by following subject teachers’ meetings (MGMP), both at the madrasah level and at the Cilacap regency level. Follow up by the Head of Madrasah after conducting academic supervision of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap teachers, among them: (a) to provide comments on planned planning of learning, implementing learning, making evaluation of learning; (B) if the learning plan has been made poorly, then the teacher is required to fix it; (C) Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cilacap gives the opportunity to follow the training to the teacher in making the learning planning, the implementation of teaching and learning process, and the making of evaluation of learning.
