  • The cash sales accounting system is interrelated with related functions, documents and records used by the company as well as internal controls that regulate cash sales activities. At KP-RI Beringin, they encountered several obstacles, including the store and warehouse sections, employees often experienced miscalculations in recording stock of goods which resulted in a difference between the number of goods and the data in the application. If this is not re-evaluated, it can cause sales losses. The data were obtained using the methods of documentation, observation, and interviews. Researchers will evaluate the Cash Sales Accounting System which includes related functions, documents used, records to be used and procedures that make up the system. With the flowchart of the procedure, it will be more organized and have strict rules, so that problems will be reduced because employees will follow the existing SOPs more wisely and with discipline. The cash sales accounting system at KP-RI Beringin has 4 related functions including: sales function, warehouse function, cash function, and accounting function. Documents and records used by the cash sales accounting system at Beringin are cash sales notes, cash sales invoices, cash receipts, sales reports, and inventory cards.
