  • Many factors can affect investors when making an investment decision, there are demographic factors (gender, age, education, marital status, occupation, income, invesment experience) and psychological factors (mental accounting, familiarity). Those factors thought have a influence on investment decisions, one of them is bank account and real asset. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of demographic factors and psychologycal factors on investment decisions. The object of this study is that investors either invest funds in bank account and real asset in the city of Surabaya and Madura. foundly sampling using purposive sampling methods. Data collected through survey method using questionnaire instruments of research. To answer the problem and test the hypothesis, the researcher used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (statistical test) by using multiple regression analysis. The result of this study showed that demographic factors (gender, marital status, income, investment experience) have a significant influence on investment decisions and psychologycal factors (mental accounting, familiarity) have not a significant influence on investment decisions.
