- The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of working capital turnover, sales growth, company size, and leverage on profitability in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2014-2019 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive samplingwith a sample of 14 companies. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the help of the SPSS 16 for Windows program. The results show that simultaneously working capital turnover, sales growth, company size, and leverage have a significant effect on profitability in food and beverage sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. Partially sales growth has a significant positive effect on profitability, partially company size has a significant positive effect on profitability, partially leverage as measured by Debt Equity Ratio (DER) has a significant negative effect on profitability.
