- This study aims to analyze the effect of risk perception, risk tolerance, and overconfidence on investment decision making. The sample of this research is the people of Surabaya who have investments. There were 158 respondents who became the research sample according to the specified criteria. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The research method used in this research is SEM-PLS analysis. The results showed that partially risk perception and overconfidence had no significant effect on investment decisions, while risk tolerance partially had a significant positive effect on investment decisions.
