Perilaku Generasi X dan Y dalam Pemanfaatan Payment Gateway pada OVO Perspektif Maslahah (Studi Kasus di Tenggarong Kalimantan Timur)

- Technological developments have led to the emergence of new payment services, namely payment gateways in financial technology. Payment gateways have changed people's behavior in making payments. OVO is the most popular payment platform for the public. This study aimed to determine the behavior of generation x and y in the use of payment gateways at the OVO maslahah perspective in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan. The analysis technique used is a qualitative method that is useful for providing facts and data. The data collection technique used the observation method, interviews with five informants from generation x and five informants from generation y, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using case studies and tested for accuracy using triangulation of data source. The results showed the many benefits, convenience, effectiveness, and efficiency provided by the OVO application. It changed the behavior of generation x and y in choosing, using, buying, and the level of satisfaction with the OVO application to achieve a maslahah. There are differences in behavior from various factors, namely benefits, convenience, price value, and social factors between generations x and y in terms of product loyalty, the effect of using payment gateways on OVO, transactions in charity, and fulfillment of needs.
