- This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency, activity, sales growth and company size on the profitability of food and beverage companies. The method used in this research is purposive sampling. The sample in this study was 60 observational data consisting of 12 food and beverage companies for the 2015-2019 period. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneous liquidity, solvency, activity, sales growth and firm size significantly influence the profitability of the company. Partially the liquidity and size of the company have a positive and significant effect, while the solvency, activity and sales growth have a positive and not significant effect on the profitability of the company.
