  • This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, firm size, and sales growth on funding decisions in companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The independent variables in this study are profitability, firm size, and sales growth. The dependent variable in this study is the funding decision which is measured using the DER ratio. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the company's financial statements published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling method used is purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The test results show that profitability affects funding decisions, while company size and sales growth has no effect on funding decisions.
