  • Hedging is one of strategy to protect companies from exchange rates fluctuation. Previous research in hedging decision factors shown various results. This research aims to get empirical evidence whether firms size, growth opportunities, and managerial ownership influence hedging decision. Based on data which gained from Indonesia Stock Exchange website, especially for mining companies Exchange in 2014-2018, there are 96 of 200 companies decided to hedge their foreign currency liabilities during the period of observation. Using Logistic Regression Analysis, results showed that model accuracy is 52.5%, and managerial ownership significantly influenced of hedging decision with 5% level of significancy, while firm size and growth opportunities did not influence hedging decisions.
