  • Nowadays, there are a lot of companies starting to recognize the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation as one of the part of their business strategy. With CSR the company is expected to be able to give more attention to the environment, working space, relationship to the society, social investment, the company’s reputation from public’s point of view to be a lot better, and to improve company’s financial performance and capital access. Those things are the reasons for the author to conduct a research about CSR. The research and observation was conducted at Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Company, which aims to know whether it has been implemented according to the applicable law, and the company’s goal. The method which author used in this research was qualitative method using the result of the interview with some related parties. Based on the interview result, can be known that CSR implementation at Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk Company is done using the Sustainability principle. It is also appropriate to the company’s wanted goal. The company has done CSR itself with three different policies, they are: Support for The Next Generation; Hamonic Living With the Society; and Conserve Nature. The company also implemented CSR correctly according to the current Policies. CSR activities are stated in the company’s Annual Report. Besides, financial budgeting for CSR implementation has been calculated as the company’s expense which the implementation is done by considering appropriateness and fairness.
