  • Consumptive behavior is a consumption activity that will not be separated from human life, because human needs are unlimited and humans must be able to fulfill every need. But in essence humans always feel insufficient or always feel dissatisfied with something. If a need is met, other needs will arise. This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, self-control and socioeconomic status on consumer behavior. The sample in this study were economic students and respondents in this study were students of STIE Perbanas Surabaya and UISI Gresik. Sampling in this study there were at least 100 respondents. The sampling method was purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The analysis technique used is regression analysis and ANOVA. The results of this study are financial literacy, self-control negatively affects consumer behavior . Keywords: consumptive behavior, financial literacy, self-control, parents' sociol economic status.
