  • This research examines the effect of motivation and organizational commitment on the employee performance. This study also involves control variables that include gender, age, experience, and education levels. This research use primary data. The data data sources are taken from research to the fact including opinion or respondent opinion. Respondents of the research were 12 tax services office in Surabaya and 40 tax official employees.This research also use assumption classic test. Overall this test using SPSS version 13.00 as the data analysis technique. The results of the study supported that motivation did not influence significantly to the employee performance and organizational commitment has a significant affect to employee performance. The study also supported that education and experience as control variables have significant effects to employee performance. Keyword : Motivation, Organizational Commitment, Employee Performance
