- The objectives of this research was to determine the effect of significant elements of ads based on words that sound and sound effects on brand awareness in Ad version Ponds White Beauty in Surabaya. The population in this study were all female television viewers in Surabaya who had seen ads Pond's. Sampling technique in this study using non-probability sampling method in the form of purposive sampling, the sampling technique with specific considerations. The consideration is a student in Surabaya and never saw at least 2 times a product ad on television version Ponds White Beauty. He took a sample of students and learners because the target market of the product Pond's White Beauty is a young women. In this study population was not in the know, it is based on the opinion that the number of samples used Aaker many as 115 respondents. The results showed that the ad elements based on the words that sound and sound effects, the music, the words are visible, image, color, and movement toward a positive significant effect on brand awareness ads version Ponds White Beauty in Surabaya.
