Effectiveness of Using Hypnoteaching in Teaching Listening Skill (A Quasi Experimental Research at Seventh Grade of SMPN 4 Kota Serang)

The Effectiveness of Using Hypnoteaching in Teaching Listening Skill (A Quasi Experimental Research at Seventh Grade of SMPN 4 Kota Serang) Skripsi of English Education Department at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University of Banten. This research investigates the effectiveness of hypnoteaching in teaching listening skill. This research is aimed to know the response of using hypnoteaching on students listening skill at seventh grade of SMPN 4 Kota Serang. The research is basically to know: (1) knowing hypnoteaching method on students listening skill at seventh grade of SMPN 4 Kota Serang; (2) knowing the applied of hypnoteaching in teaching listening skill. Technique used for this research is experimental with two classes, experimental and control class using pre-test and post-test technique. This research involves 35 students as sample control class and 35 students as experimental class at the seventh grade of SMPN 4 Kota Serang. The result of this research shows that score of t- test t0 : tt = 4,59 > 2,00 in degree of significance 5% and t0 : tt 4,59 > 2,65 in degree of significance 1% so that Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) of the result is accepted and H0 (Null Hypothesis) is rejected. It means that using hypnoteaching has significance on teaching listening skill.
