The title of this research paper is “Improving Students’ Writing Skill on narrative Text Using Cartoon Picture”. The research is conducted based on the statement of problems 1) How is the Students’ writing narrative text?, 2) How is cartoon picture applied in teaching writing narrative text?, 3) How is the effectiveness of cartoon picture in teaching writing narrative text?. Purpose of the research 1) To know about the students’ writing skill on narrative text, 2) To know about applied in teaching writing narrative text, 3) To know the effectiveness of cartoon picture in teaching writing narrative text. The method which was used in this research which two classes, called experiment and control class, the data was collected through pre-test and post-test.
