  • This research investigates The Influence of PLEASE (Pick-List-Evaluate-Activate-Supply-End) Strategy toward Students’ Writing Skill. This research uses experiment research, it is conducted based on the main problem, 1) How is the students’ writing skill on narrative text at the third grade students of MTs Al-Amin? 2) How is the influence of PLEASE strategy in teaching writing on narrative text at the third grade students of MTs Al-Amin?. Based on the problem, the aims of the study, 1) To know the students’ writing skill on narrative text atthe third grade students of MTs Al-Amin. 2) To know the influence of PLEASE strategy in teaching writing on narrative text at the third grade students of MTs Al-Amin. The writer collects data from 62 students that spared into two classses, one class as experimental class and another class as control class. The writer uses quasi-experimental design using pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The sample class are IX C as experimental class and class IX A as control class. The result of this research shows that the students' writing skill using PLEASE strategy achieve better performance than the students who not use PLEASE strategy. The result of the data analysis is using t-test, the value of tobservation is 6.23 with degree of freedom is 60 In the degree significance 5% = 1.67 in degree of significance 1% = 2.39. After that the writer compares the data with ttable both in degree significance 5% and 1%. Therefore t_o:t_t = 6.23 > 1.67 in degree of significance 5% and t_o:t_t = 6.23 > 2.39 in degree significance 1%. To is bigger than tt. It means there is significant effect of using PLEASE strategy to improve students’ writing skill.
