- One aspect of language that use to communicate is speaking. Almost all English language teachers get the students to study grammar and vocabulary, practice function dialogues, and take part in productive skill activities. Pronunciation is a way in which a language or a particular word o r sound is spoken. The objectives of this research are to know what the students difficulties in their pronouncing words on dialogue, why the students have the difficulties in pronouncing words on dialogue, and how the percentage of students’ difficulties are made by the students in pronouncing words on dialogue. This research will specify the problem : 1. What are the students’ difficulties in their pronouncing words on dialogue? 2. Why the students have difficulties in pronouncing words on dialogue? 3. Ho w many percentage of students’ difficulties a re made by the students in pronouncing words on dialogue? This researcher was qualitative researcher and the method used in this research was a case study, and data analysis that used by the writer was an observ ation, test, and interview as instrument of study. The subject of this research is the second grade of MA Massarotul Muta’alimin Banten. Based on the result of data analyzing it can be concl ude that the result in words searching, congratulation, invitation , nearby, idea of the test are the highest percentage, there are 25 students (100%) of student difficulties in pronouncing words on dialogue and the result in word works of test is the lowest percentage, there are 5 student (6,25%), b ut the result in words this, push, too, idea.
