- Standarisation of the ethanol extractof Eugenia cumini Merr. leaves as a raw medical material has been conducted. The test involved specific and non specific parameters according to standardisation method from ilegitimale literature. Result showed that on the extracts as ( a thick form, brown, specific smell and brace test), with water content of (9.7 % ± 0.115), content of compounds soluble in water (12.4 % ± 0.551) and soluble in ethanol (16 % ± 0.924), ash content insoluble in acid (0.13% ± 0.085).
