  • An effect of ethanol-water ratio as extraction solvent in gaining an extract, phenolic content and antioxidant activity of Psidium guajava Linn. Leaves have been investigated. The ethanol water ratio tested were 100:0, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, 50:50, and 40:60 respectively, result revealed that the ethanol water ratio had significant effect on extractive obtainability, phenolic concent and antioxidant activity (P<0,05). Among the ethanol-water ratio tested, the best result was obtained by ethanol water ratio 50:50 as extraction solvent for Psidium guajava Linn, leaves.
