- Eighteen cultures of Vibrio parahaemolitycus had been isolated from sea water at Pasir Jambak and Bungus Beach, Padang using CHROMAgar Vibrio media. Further identification was done by using Biolog methods towards three cultures of V.parahaemolitycus and the results are probability 68%, 78% and 85% respectively. Identification of V. parahaemolitycus by using PCR methods towards fourteen cultures showed that all cultures had the amplicon at 368 bp. Keywords : vibrio parahaemolitycus, Biolog, ToxR, PCR
