- Effects of climate on some pharmaceutical excipients have been evaluated by analyzing sorptionisotherm of these substances. The sorptionisotherm were obtained by exsicator method by usrng sulfuric acid solutions in various consentrations to achieve certain relative humidities. The sorptionisotherm of rice mills and sago nills showed sigmoidal curves which up to P/PO : l, 40Vo appeared as to a monolayer sorption, and at P/Po above 60vo appeared a capillary condensation. white sacsfoslrrm lactis, magnesi'rm strearate, talcum and botus alba were the non- hygroscopic substances, which have no moisture effect up to p/po : ffivo.
