  • Detection of toxR, tdh and trh genes in Vibrio parahaemolyticus from turtle eggs have been conducted. The confirmation test were done by using PCR methods. The presences of tdh and trh genes were considered as virulence factor. The results showed that turtle eggs from Chelonia mydas and Eretmochelys imbricata contained toxR gene 18.6 %, where eighteen of them contained tdh gene 8.4 % and none of them contained trh gene.
