- The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of Foreign Direct Investment, the Local Investment and Province Minimum Wage towards the Employment in North Sumatera in sixteen years during 2000 to 2015. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis obtain the datas from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The data processing analysis is Multiple Regression . The result of this research is that North Sumatera Foreign Direct Investment and the Local Investment to employment has negative effect on employment. In the other hand, the Province Minimum Wage has positive effect on the employment in North Sumatera. Simultaneously, the result shows that the variables have significant impact. While the determinant coefficients finds that the variables has impact of 70,2 % on employment in North Sumatera.
- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari PMA, PMDN dan UMP terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Sumatera Utara dalam kurun waktu enam belas tahun, dari tahun 2000-2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial PMA dan PMDN berpengaruh negatif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, sedangkan UMP berpengaruh positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Secara simultan ketiga variabel menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Sementara koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel berpengaruh sebanyak 70,2% terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Sumatera Utara.
