- This research conducted on September 2017 in Desa Telaga Sari, Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang with Purposive influencing location determination method. The purpose of this study is to explain the factors on the level of guava production in the study area, to explain the factors that influence the income of guava farming in the research area, and to analyze the acceptance relationship, the production cost, and the net income of the guava farm in research area. Methods of data analysis using Cobb-Douglass function, Multiple Linear regression method, and Chi-Square test. The result of this research are: 1) The amount of fertilizer and the amount of packing use has significant effect on guava production and the amount of wrapping that has the most significant effect on the production. 2) The selling price, the fertilizer cost, and the cost of packaging usage has significant effect on farmer's income and the cost of packaging usage that has the most significant effect to farmer's income. 3) There is a relationship between income with net income of farmers with the value of contingency coefficient is equal to 0.679 which means the closeness of the relationship between income with farmer income of 67.9% and there is a relationship between production costs with net income of farmers with the value of contingency coefficient is 0.582 which means closeness between production cost and farmer income 58.2%.
- Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2017 di Desa Telaga Sari, Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang dengan metode penentuan lokasi secara Purposive. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi jambu biji di daerah penelitian, untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani jambu biji di daerah penelitian, dan untuk menganalisis hubungan penerimaan, biaya produksi, dan pendapatan bersih usahatani jambu biji di daerah penelitian. Metode analisis data menggunakan fungsi Cobb-Douglass, metode Regresi Linier Berganda, dan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Jumlah pupuk dan jumlah penggunaan pembungkusan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi jambu biji dan jumlah penggunaan pembungkusan yang paling berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi. 2) Harga jual, biaya pupuk, dan biaya penggunaan pembungkusan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pemdapatan petani dan biaya penggunaan pembungkusan yang paling berpengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan petani. 3) Ada hubungan antara penerimaan dengan pendapatan bersih petani dengan nilai koefisien kontingensi adalah sebesar 0.679 yang berarti keeratan hubungan antara penerimaan dengan pendapatan petani sebesar 67.9% dan ada hubungan antara biaya produksi dengan pendapatan bersih petani dengan nilai koefisien kontingensi adalah sebesar 0.582 yang berarti keeratan hubungan antara biaya produksi dengan pendapatan petani sebesar 58.2%.
