- This thesis is entitled The Vocabulary Acquisition of A Two-year Old Child: A Case Study. This thesis analyze about how a two-year old child that being the subject of this research acquires vocabulary and to identify the most often uttered part of speech. In classifying the data, the writer uses the Interactionist and Behaviorist theory. The method that is used in this research are descriptive qualitative and observation method. The data in this thesis is the subject‟s utterances that has been recorded by the writer for a month. The result of this research shows that this subject acquire vocabulary through interaction and imitation. It also shows that the part of speech of his vocabulary is dominated by noun.
- Skripsi ini berjudul The Vocabulary Acquisition of A Two-year Old Child: A Case Study. Skripsi ini menganalisis tentang bagaimana seorang anak berumur 2 tahun yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini memperoleh kosa kata dan untuk menemukan kelas kata yang cenderung diucapkan. Dalam mengklasifikasikan data, penulis menggunakan teori Interaksionis dan Behavioris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan metode observasi. Data yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah ucapan-ucapan dari subjek penelitian yang telah direkam oleh penulis selama satu bulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian memperoleh kosakata melalui interaksi dan meniru orang lain. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa part of speech dari kosakata yang diperoleh didominasi oleh kata benda.
