- The aims of research were to know pattern execution IPKTM in Lumban Julu District; contribution of Pine sale to forest farmer income; condition of forest people in Lumban Julu District; desire of society to plant Pine again. The research was conducted at Lumban Julu District, Toba Samosir Residence, North Sumatera Province on January 2005. Object of the reseacrh was forest farmer household. The research used descriptive method and quantity analyse. Method was used quantity as main method and supported by quality method. Data was obtain with interview by questionnaire observation and literature. Sample derivation used exhausive sampling, where forest farmer as much as 30 hoesehold. The result of the research is: pattern IPKTM in District Lumban Julu have persuant to legislation, Pine sale can give contribution 4.52% to earning society, people forest have many cut away in District Lumban Julu, and the owner farm do not want to plant Pine again.
