- The research about Application of Technological Package and Convensional Planting System on Production of wet-field rice in Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, District of Deli Serdang, was conducted from July to September 2004. The objective of this study would be to see the effect of technological package application as recommended by conventional planting system on production of wet-field rice to be reached in farms of Desa Wonosari Tanjung Morawa. This research was using Group Random Sampling with two replications and five factors of treatment, i.e., : age of seed (U), manure (sheep litter) (B), nitrogent (N), phosphor and potassium (P), and planting system (S), two levels respectively. The result of research indicated that interaction of all treatments (UBNPS) produced the highest result in number of strain, i.e., 41,7 stems in U2B1N2P2S1 and, the lowest one, 14,8 stems in U]BiN2PiSi. The single treatment of seed age, nitrogen, and planting system have effect on increase in weight of 1000 grains of wet-field rice. The highest result for weight of 1000 grains was found in U2P2S2, 27,65 kg/plot. Production per plot of wet-field rice was measured by seeing bot wet and dried weight of rice (kg/plot). The single treatment of seed age has a very significant effect in increasing the wet-rice weight of 3,92 kg/plot in U2 and the lowest one was 3,18 kg/plot in Ui. And for single treatment of nitrogen, the highest was in treatment of Ni, 3,82 kg/plot and the lowest one was 3,29 kg/plot for wet-rice weight. In observation of dried rice weight, the single treatment of seed age and nitrogen has a very significant effect on number of dried rice weight. In 26 days of seed age (U2) gained the highest result, 3,46 kg/plot and the lowest also on single factor of 13 days seed (Uj) just reached 2,72 kg/plot.
