- The purpose of this research is to get the empirical evidence about the influence of earnings, free cash flows, and debt policy to dividend policy in banking institutions in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The hypothesis in this research is, of earnings, free cash flows, and debt policy against dividend policy variable have an effect to dividend policy in banking Bursa Efek Indonesia either simultan and partial. This research objects are companies of the banking institutions which are listing in Bursa Efek Indonesia since the year 2003 until 2008, actively publish the financial statement and not delisted during perception year that is counted 20 companies. Data collected by taking the documentation financial statement from Indonesian Capital Market Directory ( ICMD) and visit Indonesian Stock Exchange web site in www.idx.co.id . Data processed by using statistical equipment multipled linear regression called SPSS. This research result proved that of earnings, free cash flows, and debt policy variables against had simultanly significant influenced in banking institutions, but partially only the earning influences dividend policy banking institutions in Indonesian Stock Exchange
