This study aimed to determine the influence of rice straw compost, rhizobium and Ca (Calcium) fertilizer on the growth and yield of Peanut grown on tidal land in the village Selotong, Langkat. The research was conducted in the Village Selotong, Langkat Regency at the altitude of < 1 m above sea level for 4 months (Mei-September 2011). The design used was the split split plot design (RPPT) consisting of three factors, the first factor was : Straw Compost (main plot) consisted of three levels, K0 (without compost), K1 (3 tons / ha or 1.4 kg / plot , K2 (5 t / ha or 2.3 kg / plot), The second as the sub plot was Rhizobium at 3 levels, R0 (without Rhizobium), R1 (1 liter Rhizobium / 1 kg of groundnut seeds ), R2 (2 liters of Rhizobium / 1 kg of groundnut seeds), The third was Ca (Calcium) Fertilizer as a sub-plots consisted of four levels, P0 (without Ca), P1 (Ca Fertilizer at 1 g / L water), P2 ( 2 g Ca Fertilizer / L water), P3 (3 g Ca Fertilizer/ L water). The results showed that straw compost, Rhizobium and Ca (Calcium) Fertilizer did not not show that any significant influence on all the components of growth and yield, which might be due to the relative high salinity of the tidal land, as affected by the intrusion of sea water .
