  • The Academy of Management Pase is one of the Private Academies at Langsa. The management of the school is striving for reforming its organizational system. Nowadays, it is faced with the problems of giving the compensation and the satisfaction to the lecturers which eventually influence their performance. Some lecturers do not pay full attention to their performance since they feel that the payment for their services does not match with their performance. In consequence, they feel that it is not fair and appropriate. Their dissatisfaction is also caused by the discrepancy of the senior lecturers’ compensation and the junior lecturers’ one. These problems have brought about their declining performance in doing their teaching activities at the campus. The problems of the research to what extent was the influence of compensation and job satisfaction on the lecturers’ teaching performance at the Academy of Management Pase Langsa Theories used in this research are theories of Human Resource Management, which is concerned about the compensation, job satisfaction and performance. The research used a survey technique with descriptive quantitative method, and the type of the research was explanatory. The samples consisted of 40 lecturers at the Academy of Management Pase, Langsa. The data which were used to answer the hypothesis were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis with the reliability level of 95%. The result of the hypothesis test showed that compensation and job satisfaction simultaneously had significant influence on the lecturers’ teaching performance at the Academy of Management Pase, Langsa, and partially the compensation had more dominant influence than the job satisfaction. Compensation and job satisfaction simultaneously had significant influence on the lecturers’ teaching performance at the Academy of Management Pase, Langsa; Partially, the variable of compensation and job satisfaction had positive and significant influence on the lecturers’ teaching performance at the Academy of Management Pase, Langsa.
