- The addition effect’s charcoal and corn cobs powder (Zea Mays) to the decrease of Iron, TSS, TDS, Turbidity, and pH on swamp water has been done. The analysis parameters of was : Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and Total Disolved Solid (TDS) by Gravimetry, Turbidity by Turbidimetry Iron (Fe) by Spectrophotometry and pH determination. Content determination has done before an affter charcoal and corn cobs powder addition. The percentages of decreasing from this research by charcoal corn cobs addition for Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Total Disolved Solid (TDS), Turbidity, and Iron (Fe),11%; 36,36%; 45,93%; 38,22%, respectively. However the percentages of decreasing by corn cobs powder addition for Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Total Disolved Solid (TDS), Turbidity, and Iron (Fe), 66,67%; 45,45%; 39,83%; 57,20, respectively. From the result percentages of decreasing to analysis of parameters, corn cobs powder has adsorptive higher than charcoal corn cobs.
