  • One of the problems in comparing the Fisher Exact test and Yates correction test is how two comparison test results from the probability values generated using the data characteristics of mothers and infants (0-6 months) fed MP-ASI with the incidence of infection in health center Sunggal. Thus it is necessary to test analysis by using multiple samples and categorizing the same on each variable by looking at the average and median values can be known so that comparisons of test results of the second analysis. The objectives of this research is explanatory research, the study population was all infants 0-6 months fed MP-ASI and the study sample was drawn infants 0-6 months of population even as many as 50 infants, then used as the sample 20 and sample 30. The results with a sample of 20 according to the average value seen no difference in outcome hypothesis, the sample 20 according to the median is also no difference in outcome hypothesis, the sample 30 based on the average value can be 2 variables (parity and age of the baby) that there was no difference in outcome hypothesis, one variable (infant weight) indicate a difference in the outcome variable hypothesis whereas maternal age and height analysis of baby can not do both these tests, the sample 30 based on the median values obtained variable parity, infant age and weight infants there were no differences in outcome variables hypothesis whereas maternal age and height infants can not be done a second analysis of the test. As a suggestion in this study were prior to data analysis should be fulfilled the conditions of Fisher test and Yates test determine appropriate data for comparison.
