- This study aims to determine how budget participation and Job Relevant Information (JRI) can affect information asymmetry and performance on SKPD Department of Education in the government of Tanjung Balai. The population in this study is the regional work units (SKPD) Department of Education in the government of Tanjung Balai. Samples are SKPD residing in Department of Education in the government of Tanjung Balai, with a total of 105 respondents. Technique of testing data in this study using multiple linear regression approach through a causal relationship (causal effect) with the type of data used primary data. For the validity and regularity results of multiple linear regression analysis is necessary first to test the quality of observation instruments and classical assumption. The results of this study proved that budget participation and job relevant information (JRI) can affect information asymmetry and performance SKPD on Department of Education in the government of Tanjung Balai.
