- This research aimed to observe the potential of Trichoderma harzianum in controlling late blight on tomato plants. Research conducted at Kebun Percobaan Buah dan Bunga (KPTB) Tongkoh - Berastagi, Karo District. This study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of two factors namely fungal factor antagonist (0,25,50,75, and 100 g / plant) and factor compost (chicken and cow) with 10 treatment combinations and three replications. The results showed that the highest intensity of Phytophthora infestans present in treatment TO (without T. harzianum), namely 10.34% and lowest in treatment T3 (dose 75 g T. harzianum), which is 7.95%. The result of averaging the highest production on T4 treatment (dose of 100 g of T. harzianum) is 100,81 gr and the lowest in T0 treatment (without T. harzianum), which is 60,95 gr.
