- The main object of this research is to analyze factors influencing rubber export in North Sumatra. The data used in this research is time series data during 1986 until 2005 which employ econometric model and using statistical analyze tools. The method used is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result shows that total production, rubber export price, and exchange rate positive influence on rubber export volume in North Sumatra. The result shows that total production have influenced on rubber export volume not significantly, rubber export price and exchange rate have influenced on rubber export volume significantly. The result of determination coefficient test indicate that influence from total production, rubber export price and exchange rate is equal to 73% and the rest influenced by other variable which is not included in to the model.
