  • Self-regulated learning is a concept about how student become a regulator to his/her study. Self-regulated learning is a process in which student activate his/her mind, feeling, and action that is hoped to reach the specific goal of education. One of factors that influence self-regulated learning is self-efficacy. Self efficacy can influence student to choose a task, effort, diligence, and achievement. The student who has a high self efficacy will increase the use of cognitive and self regulated learning strategy. This research was a correlational study which is aimed to cerrelated self-efficacy with self-regulated learning at psychology faculty in north sumatera university. The sampling method was used is simple random sampling and the number of sample was 90. This study used two scales as a measurement, Self-efficacy Scale which is based on the theory of Bandura (1997) and Self-regulated Learning Scale which is based on the theory of Zimmerman dan Martinez-Pons (2000). The reliability of Self-efficacy Scale was 0,832 and consisted of 15 items while the reliability of Self-regulated Learning Scale was 0.935 and consisted of 45 items. Analysis of data was Pearson Product Moment correlation. Based on the analysis found that there was a relationship between self-efficacy with self-regulated learning at psychology faculty in north sumatera university (r = 0.430 with ρ < 0.01). implication of this research is the higher self-efficacy the higher self-regulated learning.
