- Danau Toba makes a big contribution to the public, it’s water is used for waters and pure water. It’d happened water pollution in Danau Toba, recently, it is by communities waste cesspool, and disposal of cesspool of floating net. The goal of research is for knowing the quality of water and for knowing complaint of consumer of Danau Toba around it at Desa Tanjung Bunga Kecamatan Pangururan Kabupaten Samosir. This research is descriptive survey, it is done at Desa Tanjung Bunga Kecamatan Pangururan Kabupaten Samosir, consist of population : 342 of head of household and it’s taken as random sample and the object of this research is the water of Danau Toba around floating net. With the primary method of data collection that is the result of water quality and outcome questionnaire and the secondary from relevant agencies. The result of research shows that the physical quality of Danau Toba water around floating net is still eligible. Chemical quality in which the DO has decreased which is 6 mg/l and BOD far exceeds the specified threshold of 3 mg/l, and bacteriological water of Danau Toba has been decreasing quality that does not meet the requirements of 0 jlh/100ml. There are 83,8% the amount of respondent who had experienced in health complaint, there are 43,8% itch and irritation on skin 81,3% eyes were red and itch were, too. It is 5% diarrhea. The suggestion of this research is for people overthere to keep cleanliness the water of Danau Toba. For interrelated instance, give people more briefing and information about pure water.
