- Economic of a nation depends on another country’s economic. This one is proved with the globalitation causes international trade like export-import. North Sumatra has taken participation in the activity of international trade, it’s to improve economic growth. One of the part that’s improved is by doing export of agriculture commodity that has a bright aspect in the future, like natural rubber. This research is purposed to analyze export of natural rubber of North Sumatera with its factors that influence it. The variables which are used are exchange rate, inflation, the price of natural rubber, and production of natural rubber (exogen variables) influence the export of natural rubber of North Sumatra (endogen variable). This research uses secondary data in the form of time series from 1990 up to 2008. The data analizing uses Path Analysis to know direct, indirect, and total effect of exchange rate, inflation, price to export of natural rubber of North Sumatra by production of natural rubber. The data calculating uses Eviews 5.1. The result shows that exchange rate, inflation, and price of natural rubber influence production of Natural Rubber of North Sumatra with positive effect. Exchange rate, inflation, price, and production of natural rubber influence export of natural rubber of North Sumatra with positive effect.
