- Aid partnership child birth was an efforts that involved various sectors, society groups, government organizations although non government organizations to work together in child birth based on principle agreement reached and each part. In that partnership, there was agreement reached about commitment and about each member expectation to return agreement reached observation that has been made and also sharing even in risk or benefit gained. This research was a survey with a qualitative approach which aimed to explain the perception of stakeholders about the implementation of aid partnership child birth in the region of Kota Datar Health Center Hamparan Perak Wake Country District Deli Serdang. Primer data were collected through in-depth interviewed and focus group discussion, secondary data were obtained from Kota Datar Health Center Profile and Deli Serdang District Health Profile. Informant in this study consisted of seventeen persons, namely a person from Head of Health Center, a person from village community leader, a person from Health Center midwife coodinator, a person from Health Center midwife staff, a person from village midwife, two persons from cadres, two persons from traditional midwife and eigth persons from pregnant mothers. Results showed that not all of informants can explained the definition of aid partnership child birth. The partnership has not worked optimal and there wasn’t agreement reached in implementation of partnership. All of stakeholders said that aid partnership child birth provided benefits and positif impact for community. Some factors that caused many people used traditional midwife to helped child birth, were: the minim of knowledges, poverty, village midwifes not proactive yet and society culture. It is suggested to Deli Serdang District Office, Head of Kota Datar Health Center and Coordinator Midwife to increase monitoring and evaluating of village midwife’s perform. It is expected to village midwife for more proactive and built good partnership with traditional midwife and cadres in implementation of aid partnership child birth. It is expected to village midwife in made persuasive approach with community leader until understood what society’s hopes in servicing child birth.
