  • Human resource represent the efficacy key of an organization, therefore human resource quality (SDM) ever have to be developed and instructed so that can reach the expected organization target. Employees performance is primary factor for an organization in reaching its target. Employees performance is very influenced by the training and motivate the job given by a company, for that company have to be more improve and intensify the training gift and motivate the job to entire employees. By paying attention to training and motivate the employees job expected can improve their working. Problem of this research is how training influence and motivate the employees job at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan Based on shortened description, then formulated the problem as following the extent of the influence of training and motivation on performance staff at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. The theory used in this research are theories of Human Resource Management, relating to training, work motivation and employee performance. The method used in this study are a survey approach, descriptive type of research are quantitative, and the nature of this research are explanations. Methods of data collection is done by interviews, a list question and study the documentation. Data analysis methods used is multiple regression. The population are all staff PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan staff which amounted to 184 people. Sample in this study took 25% of the total population using confidence level of 95% and the total sample staff 46 peoples. Results of multiple regression test hypotheses determination coefficient values obtained amounted to 61.1%, which can be concluded that the training and motivation affect the performance of staff at 61.1%. The conclusion are that the training and motivation work has a significant positive for employee performance. Partially training has the greatest influence on employee performance. This means to obtain better staff performance optimal, the firm must provide effective training and targeted to achieve the performance of staff PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan more productive.
