  • The experiment aimed to study various level of coffee bean fruit leather ammoniased on sheep feed for performance of weaning males local sheep. This research conducted at laboratory of Animal Biology at Departement of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture North Sumatera University at Jl. Prof. A. Sofyan No. 3 Medan, started from August to November 2010. This research using completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications, with starting body weight 13.80 ± 1,27 kg. the parameters are feed consumption, average daily gain and feed conversion ratio (FCR). The result of this research indicated that utilization of coffee bean fruit leather ammoniased in sheep feeding on the performance of weaning males local sheep at the treatments feed consumption showed non significantly different (P<0,05) with averages (379,08tn±73,27; 458,07tn ± 97,18; 431,13tn±10,75 and 281,27tn±9,59 g/head/day, respectively, the average daily gain showed significantly different (P>0,01) with averages (26,79B±3,42; 48,00A±12,91; 40,98A±9,52 and 21,58B±13,48 g/head/day, respectively) and feed conversion ration showed significant (P>0,05)with averages (14,13a±1,52; 9,82b±2,04; 11,04a±2,84 and 19,09a±7,71, respectively).
