- Clasical test theory uses a very simple measurement model, i. e., the resulting score consist of actual score and error score. The measurement error is classified into two tpes i. e., specified and random. One of theory applications in modern measurement in education is to apply what is called as item response theory particularly measurement of learning result through (0,1). Before analyzing the resulting data, some requirements should be satisfied, thus the result of analysis will be reliable scientifically. The model in item response theory will occur if only three requirements: unidimensional assumsion, local independence assumsion, and invariance assumsion, are satisfied.
