- The population of Indonesia in 2000 reached 206,2 million people, so that it was became a problem for Indonesia because it was not appropriate with economy development. One of effort to decrease the number of birth with family planning program, among them using family planning pill contraception. Based on data recording of village midwife in Desa Pandiangan, pill family planning acceptors were 46 people (36,62%). The purpose of this research was to analize factors that related to the using of family planning pill contraception for acceptor in Desa Pandiangan Kecamatan lae Parira Kabupaten Dairi in 2010. This research was analityc with cross sectional design. The population of this research was all of the family planning pill acceptor who live in Desa Pandiangan, and the sample of all acceptor who live in Dusun I, II, III, IV, VI were 110 acceptor. The chosen Dusun is determined purposive. Statistic analysis is done with univariate analysis, bivariat analysis and multivariate analysis. Prevalens rate of family planning pill contraception was 32,7% and there were three variables that had assosiation connection, that is unempolyement (p=0,008) the number of children was enough (p=0,000), family support (p=0,006) with the using of family planning pill contraception and there was no assosiation connection that means among age (p=0,058), education (p=0,338), kmowledge (p=0,420), with the using of family planning pill contraception. The result of multivariate analysis is gotten some factors that influenced in their connection with using family planning with using family planning pill contracepsion were job, the number of children, and family support with logistic regression line equation y=-3,084 + 1,816X1 + 2,428 X2 – 1,444 X3 . The dominant factor was the number of children. The highest prevalens of using family planning pill contraception need to effort the program Illumination Field Family Planning Desa Pandiangan so that more increase illumination about method of using contraception that effetive and permanent as man and women sterilizations. Especially for family planning acceptor is not family support, who unemployment, and mother who had the number of children was enough.
