  • Research about concentration of heavy metal Ni, Cd and Magnesium in pot of drinking water has been done. Heavy metal that are present in water torso causes water pollution and be able impact for the human that consume. So to identify and analyze heavy metal concentration is by Laboratory test of water. The samples that will analyzed are pot of drinking water to sell with formal dealer and to sell with street seller in Medan. The analyzed of sample every week during 3 month using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric method at the specific wave length for Ni are 232,0 nm ; Cd are 285,2 nm and Mg are 285,2 nm. The result of research shows that concentration in pot of drinking water in the name of label AQUA came from formal dealer of Nickel during 3 month are 0,0146 mg/L ; 0,0146 mg/L ; 0,0152 mg/L. Concentration of Cadmium are 0,00237 mg/L ; 0,0014 mg/L ; 0,0016 mg/L. Even though AQUA came from four source to experience different concentration every month. One of factor caused like a contamination of utensils during production pot of drinking water. The result of research show that concentration heavy metal in Nickel (Ni), Cadmium (Cd) and Magnesium (Mg) in pot of drinking water still in PERMENKES RI Nomor : 907/MENKES/SK/VII/2002.
