- In facing the free trade era, so the growth of industry is pointed to : 1) the growth of bisnis area which is conducive, 2) the growth of financial institutions which give the access to the transparant and easier capital source, and 3) the growth of technology of industry. The goals of this research is to know how far the influences of labour and credit of manufacture industry sector to GRDP of manufacture industry sector in Pematangsiantar City. The research method used quantitative approachment based on the secunder data numeric with years size are 1986-2008. The data were obtained from the BPS North Sumatera used dependent variable, that is GRDP of manufacture industry sector in Pematangsiantar City and independent variables, they are labour of manufacture industry sector (X1) and credit of manufacture industry sector (X2). The result of this research shows that labour of manufacture industry sector and credit of manufacture industry sector give positive and significance influences to GRDP of manufacture industry sector in Pematangsiantar City. Because of it, the government and central bank need to support the growth of industry by credit policy and manpower policy, besides the protection industry policy.
