- This thesis entitles’ A CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN ENGLISH AND KARONESE VERBS FORMED BY AFFIXATION. In this thesis, I try to analyze and to find out the similarities and differences between English and Karonese verbs formed by affixation, and I also try to find out the correspondence, partly correspondence and non-correspondence between English and Karonese verbs in term of forms, functions , distribution, and meaning.
