- This research is dealing with aspectuality marking in Toba Batak Language. The data was collected through informants in the form of spoken data and through library study in the form of written data. The data was analyzed based on distributional method with permutation technics, substitution, deletion, repetition, and paraphrasing. The research findings have shown that the aspectuality of particles in Toba Batak language together with a lingual unit of predicate marker (verb) can describe the situation of events, behaviour, or condition as well as functioning to support the kinds of meaning aspectuality. In general,the aspectuality particles are distributive to the left of the verbs through there are some aspectuality particles are normally have monomorphonemic structure, nevertheless there are still some particles with polymorphemic structure with affixation and reduplication processes.
