- The Occupational Safety and Health Management System have a function to protect workers from risk of occupational injuries and occupational diseases This research aims to find out the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System at PT. X Regional Sumatera. The type of this research is qualitative by using in-depth interview method using voice recorder tool. The informants are selected with purposive sampling technique, is an informant who is considered to know the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System, The number of informants involved was as many as 4 people that is HCM Manager, HSE staff, Operations Manager, and Maintenance Manager. The research variables are Determination OH&S Policy, OH&S Planning, Implementation OH&S Plan, Monitoring and Evaluation OH&S Performance, and review and improvement OH&S performance. The result of the research showed on the Determination OH&S Policy is accordance with the OHSAS 18001 policy where the company has the OH&S Policy which is integrated with the policy of Quality and Environment, the planning of OH&S is not suitable because the safety and health organizing committee has not set yet, the implementation and OH&S operation is in compliance with OHSAS 18001, As well as the review and improvement of OH&S Management System performance is appropriate because it is done periodically. Company are advised to establishing the safety and health organizing committee and adjusting the occupational safety and health training according to the needs.
- Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) berfungsi untuk melindungi pekerja dari resiko kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) di PT. X Regional Sumatera. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) menggunakan alat bantu voice recorder. Informan diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, informan merupakan orang yang mengetahui pelaksanaan SMK3 berjumah 4 orang yaitu Manager HCM, staff HSE, Manager Operation, dan Manager Maintenance. Variabel penelitian yaitu Kebijakan K3, Perencanaan K3, Implementasi dan Operasi K3, Pemeriksaan Kinerja K3, dan Peninjauan SMK3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada penetapan kebijakan K3 sesuai dengan OHSAS 18001 dimana perusahaan memiliki kebijakan K3 yang teintegrasi dengan kebijakan Mutu dan Lingkungan, perencanaan K3 belum sesuai karena belum ditetapkanya Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (P2K3), implementasi dan operasi K3 sudah sesuai dengan OHSAS 18001, pemeriksaan kinerja serta peninjauan dan peningkatan kinerja SMK3 sudah sesuai karena dilakukan secara berkala. Perusahaan disarankan untuk membentuk Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja dan melaksanakan pelatihan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sesuai kebutuhan.
