Pengaruh Pemberian Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat dan Beberapa Sumber Bahan Organik untuk Meningkatkan Serapan P dan Pertumbuhan Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.) pada Tanah Andisol

  • This research was aimed to examine the ability of Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes, several sources of organik matter and the interaction of Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes with several sources of organik matter in increasing P-uptake and the growth of Corn (Zea mays L.) at Andisol. This research was conducted in Screen House and Biology Soil Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, University of Sumatera utara on April-August 2018. It used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor was Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes (PSM), consist of : (M0) without application, (M1) 5 g Mycorhiza / plant, (M2) 5 g Fungi Talaromyces pinophilus / plant, (M3) 5 g Bacteria Burkholderia cepacia / plant. The second factor was organik matter, consist of : (K0) without application, (K1) 180 g of cow dung / plant, (K2) 180 g of chicken manure / plant, (K3) 180 g OPEFB (Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch) compost / plant. Phosphat Solubilizing Microbes and several sources of organik matter were incubated for 2 weeks before planting.The parameters were soil pH, P-available, P-total, population of PSM, plant height, shoot dry weight,root dry weight, and P-uptake of plant. The result showed that application of Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes was able to increase P uptake and plant growth, namely root dry weight, canopy dry weight, and plant height, and the best treatment was shown by T pinophilus fungi. The application of several sources of organik matter ingredients is also able to increase P uptake, root dry weight, canopy dry weight, and plant height, where the best treatment is the type of organik matter of Chicken Manure. The interaction Phosphate Solubilizing Microbes and several sources of organik matter significant effect on P-total soil parameters after incubation and the best treatment was of Fungi T. pinophilus and chicken manure (M2K2).
  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat, beberapa sumber bahan organik dan interaksi Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat dengan beberapa sumber bahan organik dalam meningkatkan Serapan P dan pertumbuhan tanaman Jagung (Zea maysL.) pada tanah Andisol.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa dan Laboratorium Biologi Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara pada bulan April – Agustus 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan 3 blok. Faktor pertama adalah Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat (M) dengan 4 taraf, yaitu :(M0) Tanpa aplikasi MPF, (M1) 5 g Mikoriza / tanaman, (M2) 5g Jamur Talaromyces phinopilus / tanaman, (M3) 5 g Bakteri Burkholderia cepacia / tanaman. Faktor kedua adalah beberapa sumber Bahan Organik (K) dengan 4 taraf, yaitu : (K0) Tanpa aplikasi BO, (K1) 180 g Kotoran Sapi / tanaman, (K2) 180 g Kotoran Ayam / tanaman), (K3)180 g Kompos TKKS. Mikroba Pelarut Fosfat dan Bahan Organik diinkubasi selama 2 Minggu sebelum tanam. Parameter yang diamati ialah pH tanah H2O, P-tersedia, P-total, populasi MPF, tinggi tanaman, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, dan Serapan P tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi MPF mampu meningkatkan serapan P dan pertumbuhan tanaman yaitu bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, dan tinggi tanaman, serta perlakuan terbaik ditunjukkan oleh Jamur T pinophilus. Aplikasi beberapa sumber bahan organikjuga mampu meningkatkan serapan P tanaman ,bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk,dan tinggi tanaman, dimana perlakuan terbaik ialah jenis bahan organik Kotoran Ayam. Interaksi antara MPF dan BO berpengaruh nyata pada parameter P-total tanah setelah inkubasi dan perlakuan terbaik ialah jamur T. pinophilus dan kotoran ayam (M2K2).
